Stanford just released its latest AI report, and I share here to highlight that it confirms key aspects of our community’s mission:
What Should Business Leaders Do Now?
1. Move from experimentation to targeted deployment: Pinpoint where AI capability will result in meaningful returns
2. Keep AI governance lightweight: Don’t let overbearing policies smother AI use, but have enough structure in place to prevent potential harm caused by AI
3. Redesign workflows, not just your tools: We stress this in our OnRamp workshops
4. Invest in AI workforce enablement: Find ways to improve team adoption and employee confidence; this is not about “teach and forget” but building a “sustainable and personalized action plan” that evolves over time
5. Treat AI as a strategic capability, not a to-do list: That last one is important, because it mind shifts from “where might we use AI?” to “how does AI reshape how we work?”
Anyway, I thought I’d share because the report confirms that everyone in this community is ahead of the curve. Thanks for being a part of our AIWhy journey so far.
