Is managing AI really that different from managing people?

Here's what I've learned after 18 months with digital staffers on my team: The skills are surprisingly similar. You need to give feedback, assume there's an onboarding period, and recognize that learning happens over time.

The biggest mindset shift? Don't expect to press a button and get magic. Just like with new team members, digital staffers need clear instructions, feedback loops, and time to get better at their roles. The upside? No HR issues to navigate! 😄

But the fundamentals of good management still apply - clear expectations, consistent feedback, and patience during the learning curve. If you can manage people effectively, you're already ahead of the game when it comes to managing AI.
