How Do You ‘See’ Your AI Agents?

Here's something fascinating I've noticed about AI agent platforms.

Some platforms like Zapier and N8n are really about flows - visual diagrams where you connect things step by step and AI capabilities live inside those flows.

Then you've got platforms like Relevance AI that are much more about the agent brain itself. You write prompts, give instructions in English, and the agent decides what tools to use.

And different types of people gravitate to different approaches.

I see visionary entrepreneurs leaning into the prompt-based, "talk to it like a person" systems. They think in goals and outcomes.

Operators and execution-focused folks tend to prefer the flow-based platforms. They think in processes and steps.

There's no right answer here. Each organization needs to think about what fits their team, their culture, and what they're trying to accomplish. What's comfortable for the people who'll actually be building and maintaining these systems?

The best tool is the one your team will actually use effectively.

Which of these two approaches are you closer to? Let me know in the comments.
