Why Focused Agents > Automated Behemoths

I see people posting their automated workflows online, and some of them look like absolute nightmares.

Hundreds of steps, conditional branches everywhere, little AI sprinkled in. My instant thought: that's going to be impossible to maintain, debug, or improve.

That’s why focused agents that do one job really well are better.

Instead of building a massive, complicated workflow that tries to handle every possible scenario, build multiple agents that each excel at their specific task. Then let them work together as a team.

That teaming capability takes things to a much higher level of intelligence. But each individual agent stays manageable. You can understand what it does and improve it. When something breaks, it’s easy to fix.

Complexity isn't the goal - effectiveness is.

If your workflow diagram looks like it needs a Ph.D to understand, you're probably making this harder than it needs to be.
